Arthur Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sílvio Luís Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Afogados FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Vítor Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cambuizal EC's Júnior Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Leão in the 69th minute of play. José Vítor Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinei Berger hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Arthur Massa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sílvio Luís Duarte. The goal made the score 3-1. When Zé Pedro Simão fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cambuizal EC's protests and gave Zé Pedro Simão a yellow card for diving instead.
