Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Danilo Andrade started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Luiz Gustavo Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enio Paraense was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. A collision led to Corujas SS getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Davi de Azevedo hit a great ball. If Luiz Gustavo Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Corujas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Maracanau's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Danilo Andrade scored to the left of an out of position Nilmar Lira, making the score, 1-0. Enio Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Montenegro in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maracanau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Gustavo Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Gustavo Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Enio Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maracanau's zone, Basílio Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilmar Lira came out of the goal and Basílio Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enio Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Bertassi in the 41st minute of the match. Gernando Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Gustavo Montenegro was the one to do the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Gernando Bertassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corujas SS's Enio Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilmar Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play Maracanau's Cido Gomes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Danilo Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nilmar Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Corujas SS's goalkeeper Enio Paraense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gernando Bertassi. Danilo Andrade took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilmar Lira. Nilmar Lira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 72 minutes into the match, Maracanau's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Andrade came free, but Nilmar Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Maracanau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Maracanau's Nilmar Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Silva in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Erivaldo Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Danilo Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gernando Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Gernando Bertassi fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Enio Paraense moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Andrade in the 84th minute of play forced Maracanau's goalkeeper Nilmar Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Corujas SS booed when Maracanau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
