Valério Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Eduardo Berger in the 3rd minute. 13 minutes into the match, Ivaipora's Marcel Veloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vágner Pombal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Eduardo Berger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Trigo having to make a save. In the 18th match minute, Ivaipora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Lago to maneuver through the defense. Dé Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Pombal having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Ivaipora:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inema AD:s goal. Inema AD's Dorian Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 minutes, Benedito Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ivaipora and the Inema AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Ivaipora got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Arce. Valério Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Eduardo Berger in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Veloso in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vágner Pombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dé Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luiz Eduardo Berger made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Eduardo Berger scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valério Trigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luiz Eduardo Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ivaipora's Benedito Arce got a free kick in the 57th minute. Luiz Eduardo Berger took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valério Trigo. Valério Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Dorian Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valério Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 87 minutes, Marcel Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ivaipora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dé Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inema AD's Luiz Eduardo Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inema AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ivaipora had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
