Dagoberto Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Haroldo Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Digo Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Digo Paranaense having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Hoffmann in the 20th minute of play forced Cacununga EC's goalkeeper Digo Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Cacununga EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Ramalho came free, but Digo Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Arantes had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Albertino Costa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Cacununga EC's Bruninho Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albertino Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Arantes having to interfere. With a little luck, Chalana SS's Álvaro Arantes got control of the ball when Bruninho Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Chalana SS booed when Cacununga EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Chalana SS's Gonçalo Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Digo Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haroldo Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Digo Paranaense having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Albertino Costa made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Cacununga EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Cosme to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Armando Fernandes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Digo Paranaense skillfully saved the ball. After 63 played minutes Gonçalo Ramalho rounded Cacununga EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Costa in the 68th minute of play forced Chalana SS's goalkeeper Álvaro Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Digo Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Ramalho's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Cacununga EC's goalkeeper Digo Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Hoffmann. Albertino Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Álvaro Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cacununga EC's Digo Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Ramalho in the 83rd minute of play. If Gonçalo Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Gonçalo Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Digo Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chalana SS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
