Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cabacal's Franklin Veloso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Décio Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cabacal booed when Echapora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes, Cabacal's Ernesto das Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Décio Valladares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cabacal reached it. In the 12th match minute, Echapora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cabacal's Giuseppe Motta got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeu Valadares in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Romero saved Cabacal from getting behind. If Romeu Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franklin Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Valladares having to interfere.
Romeu Valadares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Edmundo Romero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bruno Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Cabacal's goalkeeper Edmundo Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeu Valadares. Bruno Salgado was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 81 minutes, Romeu Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echapora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeu Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Echapora's Bruno Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeu Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Salgado struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Edmundo Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Echapora. Nicolas Alvarenga hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Dé Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Cabacal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dé Moreno couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
