Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute Guilherme da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Paulo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Juan Quirino sped through Faval FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luiz Paulo Queiroz. After having played for 12 minutes, Geovani Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faval FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chicão Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovani Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Frederico Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Juan Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Paulo Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Faval FC's Luiz Paulo Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme da Silva in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Pedro Paulo Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Faval FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Claraiba EC the free kick. Guilherme da Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Paulo Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guilherme da Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Celsinho Dante's late challenge caught a Claraiba EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celsinho Dante helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Celsinho Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Paulo Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme da Silva in the 29th minute of the match. Geovani Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Nascimento having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Mário Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Claraiba EC and the Faval FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Claraiba EC's Mário Barreto got a free kick in the 36th minute. The supporters of Claraiba EC booed when Faval FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes Geovani Marquez rounded Claraiba EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Frederico Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Chicão Borges sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovani Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Borges in the 52nd minute of play forced Claraiba EC's goalkeeper Frederico Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Geovani Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faval FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chicão Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovani Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovani Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederico Nascimento having to make a save. Frederico Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Marquez in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Claraiba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Frederico Nascimento came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Faval FC's Chicão Borges. But to his dismay, Chicão Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Chicão Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Claraiba EC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. José Maria Arruda hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Chicão Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faval FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chicão Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Claraiba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belchior Messias to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Geovani Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Guilherme da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Claraiba EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme da Silva couldn't finish the play. Guilherme da Silva hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Chicão Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
