Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Juan Quirino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the match, Claraiba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho de Queirós came free, but Frederico Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme da Silva in the 4th minute. Frederico Nascimento came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Chavantes FC's Nestor Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Nestor Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nestor Alvarenga scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederico Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Chavantes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Quirino came free, but Eusébio Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabino Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Frederico Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Alvarenga in the 24th minute of play forced Claraiba EC's goalkeeper Frederico Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Juan Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Claraiba EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Quirino couldn't finish the play. Juan Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mário Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Sabino Simão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederico Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Paulo José Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Claraiba EC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Guilherme da Silva hit a great ball. Guilherme da Silva was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Claraiba EC's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. After the first half Chavantes FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Alvarenga to make the kick off. Guilherme da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Eusébio Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme da Silva in the 54th minute of the match. When Nilmar Passos fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Claraiba EC's protests and gave Nilmar Passos a yellow card for diving instead. 65 minutes into the match, Claraiba EC's goalkeeper Frederico Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabino Simão. When Juan Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Claraiba EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Quirino couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Guga do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Chavantes FC's Nestor Alvarenga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frederico Nascimento. Frederico Nascimento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After having played for 87 minutes, Nestor Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chavantes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claraiba EC's Nilmar Passos got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Nilmar Passos off the ground. If Guilherme da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chavantes FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
