Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Horácio Meirelles took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elias Vale succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Wiliam Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Coutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Pedro Luís Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Elias Vale notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Iepe FC's Conrado Coutinho. Conrado Coutinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Curral SS defense, Horácio Meirelles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juarês Quintal. The Curral SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juarês Quintal should have stopped the shot. When Elias Vale came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Curral SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Vale couldn't finish the play. Juarês Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Meirelles in the 37th minute of the match. Curral SS's Elias Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Vale to make the kick off. Juarês Quintal made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Pedro Luís Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. Elias Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Coutinho having to interfere. Pedro Luís Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Wiliam Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Pedro Luís Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Curral SS's Juarês Quintal got control of the ball when Pedro Luís Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute Sebastião Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Wiliam Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curral SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Iepe FC's Juarês Quintal threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horácio Meirelles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Luís Gaspars short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Juarês Quintal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 91 minutes, Pedro Luís Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iepe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luís Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Curral SS getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Francisco Saldanha hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Alex Paraibano sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Juarês Quintal threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Alex Paraibano this time.
