Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luciano Cordeiro kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Aelegrete's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Cerezo came free, but Ivo Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Finlandia defense, Luisinho Figueiredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquinho Zonta. The Finlandia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquinho Zonta should have stopped the shot. Luisinho Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Chiquinho Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Cerezo in the 24th minute of play. Waldemar Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Nunes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Cordeiro in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Finlandia's Henrique Gomes got a free kick in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Finlandia's Vítor Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivo Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Teodoro Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes of play, Aelegrete's Geovanni Fernandez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho Zonta was left in no man's land by his defense there!
In the 61st match minute, Finlandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Rosado to maneuver through the defense. If Waldemar Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Finlandia's zone, Wilian Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquinho Zonta came out of the goal and Wilian Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Finlandia's goalkeeper Chiquinho Zonta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waldemar Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ivo Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiquinho Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Figueiredo in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Luisinho Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Nunes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vítor Mello showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 86 minute of play. If Vítor Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
