Ademar Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Pedro Luís de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Benê Santana came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Vencedor AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benê Santana couldn't finish the play. After having played for 29 minutes, Jano Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vencedor AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes of play Vencedor AD's Pedro Luís de Sena was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Pedro Luís de Sena hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Gerson Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ademar Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Corina's zone, Jano Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Augusto Chaves came out of the goal and Jano Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Corina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vencedor AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Vencedor AD.
