Narciso Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benê Santana in the 33rd minute of the match. Narciso Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Fernandinho de Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vencedor AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buzios the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horácio Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Juan Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buzios and the Vencedor AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Buzios's Juan Novaes got a free kick in the 51st minute. Benê Santana struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Narciso Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vencedor AD. Benê Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Narciso Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute of the match, Nelson Meireles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ademar Sarmento was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Narciso Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jano Arce's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 73 played minutes Vencedor AD got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Urbano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Medeiros in the 75th minute of play forced Vencedor AD's goalkeeper Ademar Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Pedro Luís de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes Vencedor AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Paulo Machado who took care of the corner kick. Buzios's Zé Paulo Machado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ademar Sarmento in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 85th minute Jano Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benê Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Buzios players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
