When Hamílton Leme came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Paquara SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton Leme couldn't finish the play. Erik Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Erik Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benê Lucas went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. João Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamílton Leme struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Evandro Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paquara SC. When Hamílton Leme fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paquara SC's protests and gave Hamílton Leme a yellow card for diving instead. Hamílton Leme hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. João Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Hamílton Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Paquara SC booed when Ihum AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Hamílton Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paquara SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamílton Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Ramoss short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Evandro Coelho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47th match minute, Ihum AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamílton Leme in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evandro Coelho saved Ihum AD from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benê Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Paquara SC's João Ramos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Hamílton Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evandro Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamílton Leme's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Erik Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Hamílton Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Régis de Souza hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Paquara SC's Erik Recife got control of the ball when Albertino Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Benê Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ihum AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benê Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evandro Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ihum AD's Benê Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Hamílton Leme notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ihum AD's Evandro Coelho. Evandro Coelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
