Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Valdir Guimarães started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Felippe Leme's late challenge caught a Salesiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felippe Leme helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Salesiano booed when Pari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Lima got free with Joélson Bittencourt in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salesiano's Adolfo Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salesiano! Valdir Guimarães charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdir Guimarães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Pari got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Guimarães. In the 21st minute Valdir Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joélson Bittencourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. Pari's Joélson Bittencourt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Pari from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the game, Claudinei Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salesiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pari the free kick. After 33 played minutes Salesiano got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Matos. Osvaldinho Messias came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Pari's Afonsinho Tande. But to his dismay, Afonsinho Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Valdir Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, Salesiano's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Tande came free, but Osvaldinho Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Joélson Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldinho Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Guimarães in the 52nd minute of play. Afonsinho Tande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldinho Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Valdir Guimarães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salesiano's Osvaldinho Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adolfo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Joélson Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salesiano's Adolfo Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joélson Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Salesiano's Amílton Passos. But to his dismay, Amílton Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 75th minute João Augusto Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Salesiano's Adolfo Lima in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pari's goalie prevented a goal. Felippe Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Joélson Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Salesiano's Adolfo Lima. But to his dismay, Adolfo Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Osvaldinho Messias made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Afonsinho Tande sent off a good shot on target. Valdir Guimarães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldinho Messias having to make a save. When Felippe Leme came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Pari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Leme couldn't finish the play. After 97 minutes of play Pari's Valdir Guimarães was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Pari getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Valdir Guimarães hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
