The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. Diogo Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Lima in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramiro Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Osvaldinho Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Severo SC. If Ramiro Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17thth minute of the game Célio Britto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salesiano's Osvaldinho Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th match minute, Salesiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Koehler to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Severo SC's goalkeeper Emerson Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Salesiano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Salesiano:s Osvaldinho Messias showed great skill when he stopped Edu Romero:s penalty. Adolfo Lima struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Emerson Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salesiano. Osvaldinho Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Salesiano's zone, Célio Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldinho Messias came out of the goal and Célio Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Diogo Toledo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Osvaldinho Messias to make any attempt to save it. If Célio Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Célio Britto made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Célio Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Koehler hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, one of Salesiano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Salesiano. The referee gave Severo SC a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edu Romero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Salesiano's Osvaldinho Messias. 2-0. Osvaldinho Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Britto in the 60th minute of the match. If Ramiro Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Lima in the 77th minute. Ramiro Fernandez scored 3-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldinho Messias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Severo SC fully deserved thier win.
