Tranquera FC's Armando Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabiano Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dagoberto Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Meireles's late challenge caught a Tranquera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fábio Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. Fabiano Rosados short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Dagoberto Queirós to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Luiz Paulo da Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinei Brasil was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Claudinei Brasil came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Singular getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alfredinho da Silva hit a great ball. Rafinha Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Claudinei Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Linhares to make the kick off. Fabiano Rosado took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dagoberto Queirós. Dagoberto Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Rafinha Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Singular's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafinha Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinei Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Tranquera FC's zone, Rafinha Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinei Brasil came out of the goal and Rafinha Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Singular's Luiz Paulo da Costa in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tranquera FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Fábio Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Claudinei Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Luiz Paulo da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Claudinei Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Claudinei Brasil managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Singular's Rafinha Almeida fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rafinha Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafinha Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinei Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tranquera FC had won after a very even match.
