Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luiz Paulo da Costa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Singular's Dagoberto Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Marquez in the 5th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Singular got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Meireles. In the 6th minute Elder Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Hamburgo's Elder Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dagoberto Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rafinha Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nildo Toscano fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hamburgo's protests and gave Nildo Toscano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Nildo Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo da Costa in the 15th minute of play forced Hamburgo's goalkeeper Nilson Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Singular's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leandro Romero in the 16th minute. Leandro Romero made a great header on Singular's corner, it was just that Hamburgo's Nilson Antunes managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustão Damião during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 20 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo da Costa lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Nilson Antunes. Jean Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jean Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute of the match Leandro Romero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson Antunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rafinha Almeida hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo da Costa in the 41st minute of play forced Hamburgo's goalkeeper Nilson Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Paulo da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Queirós came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Hamburgo's Elder Araújo. But to his dismay, Elder Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, Luiz Paulo da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Antunes. Hamburgo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Paulo da Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Nilson Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo da Costa in the 69th minute of play. Singular's Rafinha Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Hamburgo's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo da Costa came free, but Nilson Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilson Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Hamburgo got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Damião. Singular's Rafinha Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nilson Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Paulo da Costa's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Jairo Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jairo Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 90 minutes into the game, one of Hamburgo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Singular. Leandro Romero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nilson Antunes. 3-1. Rafinha Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Singular's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
