Claudinei Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Tranquera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Luz to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Humberto Amaral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudinei Brasil. The goal made the score 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Claudinei Brasil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 15thth minute of the game Armando Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caiacanga's Aírton Carioca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Giovanni Sena came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Caiacanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Sena couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Amaral in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinei Brasil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the game, Jonathan Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tranquera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caiacanga the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Tranquera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Marquez to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Caiacanga's Gerson Vides broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fabiano Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Fabiano Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tranquera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aírton Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Linhares in the 30th minute of play. Donatello Botelho's late challenge caught a Tranquera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donatello Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Tranquera FC's Robinho Monteiro tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Giovanni Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Brasil having to interfere. Giuseppe Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Humberto Amaral struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Claudinei Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caiacanga. When the match had gone on for 49 minutes, Giovanni Sena put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Claudinei Brasil. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alessandro Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Aírton Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Aírton Carioca made a huge save. In the 63rd match minute, Tranquera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. In the 66thth minute of the game Humberto Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tranquera FC's Claudinei Brasil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudinei Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Sena in the 73rd minute of play. Zé Carlos Moreira hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to Caiacanga getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Sydney Peres hit a great ball. When Fabiano Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Tranquera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Rosado couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Fabiano Rosado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Fabiano Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tranquera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Rosado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Carioca having to interfere. Claudinei Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Amaral's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Caiacanga were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tranquera FC for a fine match.
