The supporters of Cerejeira FC booed when Mormaco AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Fontes having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cerejeira FC had won after a very even match.
