In the 23rd minute Valdomiro Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Soinho booed when Alagamar EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Araújo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anísio Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Fantini during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 34 minutes into the game, one of Alagamar EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute, Valdomiro Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdomiro Alvarenga in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto de Souza saved Alagamar EC from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdomiro Alvarenga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Luís Gustavo Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Richard Jacinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alagamar EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soinho the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Alagamar EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Leme to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Alvarenga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alagamar EC the free kick. José Vítor Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fausto de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdomiro Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tales Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tales Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tales Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Fausto de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Soinho defense, Anísio Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Araújo. The Soinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Araújo should have stopped the shot. Valdomiro Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Fausto de Souza made a huge save. Anísio Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Araújo having to interfere. Alagamar EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
