Ademar Valladares might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Dias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademar Valladares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute, Ademar Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Feijoal's Luiz Eduardo Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jardel Cosme's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ezequiel Santos firmly grabbed it by the left post.

Deivid Madureira's late challenge caught a Tartaruga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deivid Madureira helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Tartaruga a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcos Araújo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Feijoal's Ezequiel Santos. 1-1. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Dias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ademar Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feijoal's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademar Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jardel Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Ezequiel Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Feijoal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tartaruga.
