A collision led to Itamarati getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Arí Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Dráuzio Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Itaberai SC's Marcelinho Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Itaberai SC from getting a goal against them. Dráuzio Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Fontes in the 96th minute of the match. In the 97thth minute of the game Gilmar Lira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itaberai SC's Marcelinho Sarmento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Itaberai SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Itamarati had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
