Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Susto's Tiago Gabriel Saraiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hortêncio Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Vasconcelos having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Susto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Celsinho Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Lira in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Manolo Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabrício Abraão struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Dráuzio Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Susto. After a defensive mix-up in Itamarati's zone, Tiago Gabriel Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráuzio Branco came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes, Gernando Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itamarati and the Susto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gernando Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrício Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Dráuzio Branco made a huge save. Hortêncio Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Celsinho Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilmar Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Tiago Gabriel Saraiva collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Itamarati:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Susto:s goal. Itamarati's Dráuzio Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Itamarati from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd match minute, Susto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. When Hortêncio Félix came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Itamarati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Félix couldn't finish the play. If Guga Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guga Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Branco having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manolo Luz during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 74 minutes into the match, Susto's goalkeeper Celsinho Vasconcelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio Félix. After 75 played minutes Susto got a freekick which was hit by Cléber de Queiroz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Luiz Hoffmann got free with Celsinho Vasconcelos in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walmir Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Vasconcelos having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Itamarati players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Susto.
