Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonso Costa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Afonso Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aracatiara's Afonso Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laginha AD! A collision led to Laginha AD getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ernesto Sena hit a great ball. Armando Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Sena in the 22nd minute of play. If Afonso Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfredo Guedes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Zacarias Arce could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Tales Zonta however easily saved by the left post. Vivaldo Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Armando Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano de Senna went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Afonso Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Zonta having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 70th match minute, Laginha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Mumbach to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Aracatiara's Benjamim Negri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Laginha AD getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Edson Quadros hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Afonso Costa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Laginha AD's Tales Zonta. Tales Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 80 played minutes Laginha AD got a freekick which was hit by Almir Zonta. Zacarias Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes Laginha AD got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Sena. Tales Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Arce in the 90th minute of the match.
