Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Montezinho SS's Rubinho Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Coutinho in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Coutinho in the 5th minute of play forced Montezinho SS's goalkeeper Rubinho Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Donato Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Donato Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erivaldo Gaspar hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Sabino da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulinho Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubinho Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Montezinho SS's goalkeeper Rubinho Zonta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Montezinho SS booed when Sucatinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Mumbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anísio Perez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paulinho Netto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Délio Abreu having to make a save. Ciro Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Veloso made a kick off. Arnaldo Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Abreu having to interfere. Paulinho Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ciro Veloso got free in front of the goal in the 69th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Délio Abreu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Donato Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rubinho Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Paulinho Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulinho Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Abreu having to interfere. Délio Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Veloso in the 93rd minute of play. Paulinho Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 98th minute Paulinho Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Délio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Montezinho SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
