Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Glauco Perez kicked off to start the match. Perivaldo Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. José Vítor Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Cabral having to interfere. Régis Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Vítor Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Pirangy FC's José Vítor Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Chaves in the 21st minute of play. Régis Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Pirangy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Perez came free, but José Vítor Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho Alagoano's late challenge caught a Canaiba SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pirangy FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Pedrinho Alagoano hit a great ball. When Luiz Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Pirangy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Linhares couldn't finish the play. When Raí Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirangy FC's protests and gave Raí Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pirangy FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Raí Queirós hit a great ball. Canaiba SC's Glauco Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glauco Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Castro having to interfere. If Caio do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Didi Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 53 played minutes Pirangy FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Alagoano. When Caio do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Pirangy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caio do Valle couldn't finish the play. When Luiz Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirangy FC's protests and gave Luiz Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pirangy FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Luiz Linhares hit a great ball. Glauco Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. José Vítor Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Perez in the 90th minute of play forced Pirangy FC's goalkeeper José Vítor Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canaiba SC's Glauco Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Pirangy FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Canaiba SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Canaiba SC.
