Thanks to some nice moves Caio do Valle could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Vinícius Borges however easily saved by the left post. In the 6th match minute, Jandiritiua SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Linhares in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinícius Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Fernando Peres hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Juan Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. José Vítor Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Jandiritiua SS's goalkeeper Vinícius Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Linhares. Luiz Linhares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinícius Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Caio do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirangy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinícius Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Caio do Valle notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Jandiritiua SS's Vinícius Borges. Vinícius Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juan Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. José Vítor Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pirangy FC's zone, Luís Albuquerque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Vítor Castro came out of the goal and Luís Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Váldson Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Albuquerque made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Caio do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pirangy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Caio do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Borges having to interfere. Váldson Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Váldson Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luiz Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pirangy FC's José Vítor Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Albuquerque in the 67th minute of play. Vinícius Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio do Valle in the 77th minute of play. When Luiz Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Pirangy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Linhares couldn't finish the play. José Vítor Castro made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Juan Amorim sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th match minute, Pirangy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Juan Amorim scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Vítor Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Jandiritiua SS getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Adalberto Gonçalves hit a great ball. If Juan Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
