Hidrolandia SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurício Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Loyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, José Paulo Rosado took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ricardo Loyola to make any attempt to save it. Bernardo Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael França in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Aymores booed when Hidrolandia SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Hidrolandia SS got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Almeida. After 76 played minutes Aymores got a freekick which was hit by Custódio Branco. Maurício Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Loyola having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Hidrolandia SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Nildo Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Maurício Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Hidrolandia SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Medeiros couldn't finish the play.
