Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rodrigo Cearense started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Jarbas Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jarbas Diniz's late challenge caught a Ivo SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarbas Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Jarbas Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, César Ribeiro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ivo SS's Tiago de Queirós. Tiago de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. César Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago de Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Passamo SC's César Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ivo SS booed when Passamo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Passamo SC's zone, Rodrigo Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Neiva came out of the goal and Rodrigo Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amílton Reis hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ivo SS booed when Passamo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivo SS's Guilherme Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Ivo SS's Rodrigo Cearense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. César Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarbas Diniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Abel Faria fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Passamo SC's protests and gave Abel Faria a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Faria hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Passamo SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dionísio Simões was slow to take the kick. During this time Ivo SS's players had a chance to rest. Guilherme Brasil struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Oscar Neiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ivo SS. Passamo SC's Oscar Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Cearense in the 74th minute of play. Gilson Martins was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, one of Passamo SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ivo SS a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dionísio Simões, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Passamo SC's Oscar Neiva. 3-3. Passamo SC's Oscar Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Brasil in the 98th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
