Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Durvalino Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Santana in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Frédson Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 minutes, Frédson Terra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cunhas SC and the Guaravera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nico Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19thth minute of the game Cesinha Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cunhas SC's Nico Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Douglas Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naldo Santana in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durvalino Goiano saved Guaravera from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Henrique Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durvalino Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Favoretto in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Samuel Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Guaravera's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Santana came free, but Durvalino Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Samuel Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesinha Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Favoretto in the 40th minute of play forced Guaravera's goalkeeper Durvalino Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Naldo Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durvalino Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesinha Cabral made a kick off. Nildo Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nildo Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Cunhas SC got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Antunes. Cunhas SC's Frédson Terra got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Frédson Terra off the ground. Christian Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durvalino Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cunhas SC. The crowd rose to their feet as Cunhas SC's Douglas Favoretto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Durvalino Goiano. That made the score 0-2 after 75 minutes of play. Naldo Santana's late challenge caught a Guaravera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naldo Santana helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Cunhas SC got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Santana. If Samuel Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cunhas SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cunhas SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
