Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd match minute, Jequitai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Pirani to maneuver through the defense. Jequitai FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Glauco Simões 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Igarapeassu EC's Glauco Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvaldo Matorin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Benedito Martins came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Igarapeassu EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito Martins couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Jefferson Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Váldson Dias. Igarapeassu EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jefferson Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Matías Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvaldo Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Benedito Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedito Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvaldo Matorin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Caetano Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Igarapeassu EC and the Jequitai FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Igarapeassu EC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Caetano Carneiro hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Caetano Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Matías Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jequitai FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 38th match minute, Igarapeassu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Moura to maneuver through the defense. Váldson Dias came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Jequitai FC's Jefferson Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Jefferson Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 48th match minute, Jequitai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Pirani to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jefferson Vasconcelos to strike the kick off in the second half. Jequitai FC's Edvaldo Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Simões in the 53rd minute of play. Edvaldo Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Simões in the 59th minute of the match. Igarapeassu EC's Benedito Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matías Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Váldson Dias made a huge save. Igarapeassu EC's Váldson Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Vasconcelos in the 73rd minute of play. If Benedito Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Matías Montenegro notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Igarapeassu EC's Váldson Dias. Váldson Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matías Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Váldson Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvaldo Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Simões in the 89th minute of play. Jaime Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Igarapeassu EC's João Pedro Rossi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jequitai FC. Glauco Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jequitai FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
