Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ezequiel Maciel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sydney Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Maciel in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, Luiz Fabiano Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldemar Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luiz Fabiano Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. If Nuno Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Luiz Fabiano Braga took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Azevedo. Waldemar Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luiz Fabiano Braga scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateus da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Matos having to interfere. Nuno Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sydney Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Maciel in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Jacueira booed when Baixo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Jacueira's Ezequiel Maciel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sydney Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murillo Baiano to make the kick off. Waldemar Azevedo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Baixo FC's Luisão Arce shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Waldemar Azevedo but with some difficulty. In the 67th minute Ezequiel Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ezequiel Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Josué Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Murillo Baiano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ezequiel Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes, Jacueira's Breno Marinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sydney Matos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jacueira reached it. After a rather tough play, Jacueira's Josué Antunes got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Baixo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
