Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Murillo Baiano kicked off to start the match. Baixo FC's Murillo Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sydney Matos made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Matías Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Sydney Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Vasconcelos in the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murillo Baiano in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvaldo Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Albertinho Guedes fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baixo FC's protests and gave Albertinho Guedes a yellow card for diving instead. Jefferson Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Murillo Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baixo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murillo Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Jequitai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Braga came free, but Edvaldo Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Murillo Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Baixo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murillo Baiano couldn't finish the play. If Luiz Fabiano Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the game, Jaime Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jequitai FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baixo FC the free kick. Iuri Peixoto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edvaldo Matorin. Jequitai FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Matías Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Sydney Matos made a huge save. Rogério Pirani's late challenge caught a Baixo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogério Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Baixo FC booed when Jequitai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Baixo FC were awarded a corner. Iuri Peixoto went to the cornerflag to take it. After 41 minutes of play Jequitai FC's Rogério Pirani was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 42nd minute, Rogério Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murillo Baiano struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Edvaldo Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baixo FC. 49 minutes into the game, one of Jequitai FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Baixo FC a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iuri Peixoto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jequitai FC's Edvaldo Matorin. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matías Montenegro to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murillo Baiano in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvaldo Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edvaldo Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matías Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jequitai FC's Edvaldo Matorin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Jequitai FC from getting a goal against them. Jequitai FC's Edvaldo Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Baiano in the 66th minute of play. Murillo Baiano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edvaldo Matorin came out and tried to block the shot, but Murillo Baiano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 68th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jequitai FC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Matorin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Jequitai FC got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Vasconcelos. In the 82nd minute, Luiz Fabiano Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baixo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luiz Fabiano Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Edvaldo Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvaldo Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Baiano in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Jequitai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio Britto to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th match minute, Baixo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Diniz to maneuver through the defense. 102 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiano Braga notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Jequitai FC's Edvaldo Matorin. Edvaldo Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
