Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bruno Rosado made the kick off and thus started the match. After some careless play in the Itaimbe AD defense, Bruno Rosado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaltino Terra. The Itaimbe AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaltino Terra should have stopped the shot. After having played for 8 minutes, Chicão Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puiu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chicão Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastião Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Isaltino Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Itaimbe AD's zone, Vitório Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Terra came out of the goal and Vitório Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vitório Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Isaltino Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaltino Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Rosado in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Vitinho Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Chicão Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Puiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chicão Bueno couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sebastião Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. Virgílio Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Mendonça in the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Saldanha in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgílio Mandrak saved Puiu from getting behind. 67 minutes into the game, Vitório Pena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puiu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaimbe AD the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Puiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Pena to maneuver through the defense. Virgílio Mandrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Saldanha went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 71 minutes of play Puiu's Vitório Pena was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Vitório Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Virgílio Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Mendonça in the 74th minute of play forced Puiu's goalkeeper Virgílio Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Itaimbe AD's Isaltino Terra got control of the ball when Chicão Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charles Matorin's late challenge caught a Itaimbe AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Matorin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Charles Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastião Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Saldanha succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Puiu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
