Ramiro Hermes started the match with the kick off. Gláuber do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Cristóvão Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sérgio Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Emílio do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio do Valle having to interfere. Walmyr Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Paiva having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Sérgio Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio do Valle. Quixabinha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sérgio Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Quixabinha FC's Emílio do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Hermes in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Quixabinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Madureira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Quixabinha FC booed when Guarani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juarês Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Dracena in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Hermes in the 32nd minute of play forced Quixabinha FC's goalkeeper Emílio do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Guarani's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Walmyr Brodel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Juarês Paiva was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Conrado Dracena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Conrado Dracena really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.

In the 53rd minute, Walmyr Brodel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juarês Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Sérgio Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Emílio do Valle made a huge save. Douglas Madureira was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Quixabinha FC's Douglas Madureira got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Ramiro Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Ramiro Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Emílio do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute Ramiro Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
