Fernão Sá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Goiano having to make a save. Dedé Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Vergílio in the 19th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Aleandro de Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Nicolas Secco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Goiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Paranary's Fernão Sá got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Gabriel Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aratu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Vergílio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gabriel Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aratu SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Vergílio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedé Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. The wind increased when Aleandro de Godoy made the kick off in the second half. Paranary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nelsinho Leite in the 55th minute. A nice corner shot did that Nelsinho Leite got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Donato Goiano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gabriel Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aratu SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Vergílio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedé Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Michel Dias came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Aratu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Dias couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, José Paulo Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernão Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Goiano having to interfere. If Fernão Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Fernão Sá notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Aratu SC's Donato Goiano. Donato Goiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Vergílio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dedé Toscano was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Aratu SC's Donato Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleandro de Godoy in the 87th minute of play. 99 minutes into the match, Aratu SC's Gabriel Vergílio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dedé Toscano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Paranary players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
