Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vágner Aguiar made the kick off which started today's match. Cícero Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manolo Teles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cícero Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Cícero Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manolo Teles could save by the left post. In the 14th minute, Vágner Aguiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alegria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 20th minute of the match Gildo Zilles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manolo Teles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Arí Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alegria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arí Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Túlio Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Paulo da Mata hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Túlio Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manolo Teles made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Cícero Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Higienopolis SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Aguiar came free, but Rodrigo Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Higienopolis SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Arruda to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Túlio Vinhas to make the kick off. Alegria's Manolo Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Montenegro in the 52nd minute of play. Cícero Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Manolo Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Thiago Magalhães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alegria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higienopolis SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alegria's Thiago Magalhães got a free kick in the 59th minute. Manolo Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Montenegro in the 60th minute of the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Higienopolis SC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Túlio Vinhas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Higienopolis SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rodrigo Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arí Coutinho in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Túlio Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolo Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arí Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rodrigo Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Higienopolis SC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alexsandro Porto hit a great ball. Manolo Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
