After 8 played minutes Alegria got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Magalhães. Arí Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ismael Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alegria. In the 23rd minute, Doni de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Doni de Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manolo Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Vágner Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Arí Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Alegria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arí Coutinho couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 39 in the game by Arí Coutinho from a close distance when the talented Ismael Luz managed to make a qualified save. Paraju FC's players were relieved. 40 minutes into the match, Paraju FC's goalkeeper Ismael Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arí Coutinho. Doni de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Manolo Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vágner Aguiar was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Alegria's Vágner Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Manolo Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doni de Amorim in the 58th minute. Frederico Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manolo Teles having to make a save. Vágner Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ismael Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Paraju FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Aguiar came free, but Ismael Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Coutinho in the 65th minute of the match. Arí Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ismael Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Paraju FC booed when Alegria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Paulo da Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Paulo da Mata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luiz Paulo da Mata hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Paraju FC's Gerson Ferraz tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ismael Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Aguiar in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Paraju FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Coutinho came free, but Ismael Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Paraju FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Figueiredo. Alegria were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Paraju FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Guilherme Hames took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luís Guilherme Hames got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ismael Luz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alegria's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
