Valdo Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Lucas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Paraíba in the 12th minute of play forced Caru's goalkeeper Túlio Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caru's Túlio Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Paraíba in the 13th minute of play. Ricardo França didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Vítor Dantas went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Valdo Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gonçalo Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Michel Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Coto SC's Michel Soeiro got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Olívio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Caru's zone, Valdo Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Lucas came out of the goal and Valdo Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Téo Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coto SC's Téo Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Caru's Benjamim Albuquerque got a free kick in the 41st minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Téo Paraíba made a kick off. The supporters of Coto SC booed when Caru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamim Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caru's Túlio Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Paraíba in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Caru's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Paraíba came free, but Túlio Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes, Leonel Recife mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coto SC and the Caru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Téo Paraíba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Túlio Lucas. The goal made the score 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
