Valdo Pires who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Renan Antunes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Téo Paraíba made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Soeiro during the 51st minute. The Coto SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 96 minutes into the game, Téo Paraíba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Renan Antunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
