After a defensive mix-up in Urimaman SC's zone, Olívio Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Antunes came out of the goal and Olívio Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the game, Caru's João Vítor Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renan Antunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Olívio Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Renan Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Olívio Loureiro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Renan Antunes. In the 32nd minute, Olívio Loureiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renan Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Loureiro in the 35th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nildo Ortiz to make the kick off. The Caru fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Caru's Olívio Loureiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 58 minutes into the match, Urimaman SC's goal looked a bit too open when Olívio Loureiro came free, but Renan Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olívio Loureiro in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Antunes saved Urimaman SC from getting behind. In the 93rd match minute, Urimaman SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Correia to maneuver through the defense. Ulisses Carioca hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Urimaman SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Caru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
