After recieving a nice pass, Crajau EC's Ernesto Paraíba tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hélder Neiva struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Luís Eduardo Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tracunhaem FC. In the 23rd match minute, Crajau EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Prestes to maneuver through the defense. In the 27thth minute of the game Alex Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crajau EC's Luís Eduardo Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Crajau EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tracunhaem FC the free kick. A collision led to Crajau EC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. If Alex Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Neiva got free with Luís Eduardo Sabóia in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero Maranhense in the 69th minute of play forced Tracunhaem FC's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
