Adhemar Fantini was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Balbino:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rodeio:s goal. Gabriel Loyola hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Danilo Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rodeio's Danilo Sá got a free kick in the 19th minute. Gláuber Vidal's late challenge caught a Rodeio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gláuber Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Danilo Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Albertino Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes Rodeio got a freekick which was hit by Davi Rosado. Kléberson Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Claudinei Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Nilson Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Gabriel Loyola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Sá in the 54th minute of play forced Balbino's goalkeeper Claudinei Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, Balbino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Vidal to maneuver through the defense. If Albertino Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balbino's goalkeeper Claudinei Loyola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodoro Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertino Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Xavier having to interfere. Rodeio's Carlos Augusto Xavier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Rodeio from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Kléberson Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nilson Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodeio were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Balbino for a fine match.
