Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Décio Brodel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Décio Brodel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Augusto Xavier, 1-0. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rodeio's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Xavier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléberson Arruda in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Nóbrega saved Thomar from getting behind. Vitinho Quaresma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Augusto Xavier. Rodeio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Augusto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Brodel in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kléberson Arruda in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeu Trigo's late challenge caught a Rodeio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeu Trigo helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the match, Rodeio's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Brodel came free, but Carlos Augusto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Wilton Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thomar's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Augusto Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 32 played minutes Rodeio got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Vergílio. When Tadeu Trigo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. In the 34th match minute, Thomar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Trigo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 39 minutes, Décio Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thomar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Décio Brodel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute Kléberson Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléberson Arruda made a kick off. Danilo Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilton Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Xavier having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Kléberson Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wilton Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Sá struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Leandro Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodeio. Kléberson Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Nóbrega having to interfere. Wilton Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Thomar's Wilton Branco in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rodeio's goalie prevented a goal. Wilton Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kléberson Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Nóbrega having to interfere. In the 90thth minute of the game Wilton Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rodeio's Carlos Augusto Xavier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Dadá Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thomar's supporters rose to their feet, but Dadá Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Augusto Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Branco in the 93rd minute of play forced Rodeio's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rodeio's zone, Wilton Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Xavier came out of the goal and Wilton Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
