Víktor Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Váldson Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Nelson de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Víktor Valladares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Váldson Antunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Nelson de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho Gaspar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, João Augusto de Queirós skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. João Augusto de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Vitinho Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. Vitinho Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Carreiras's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson de Queiroz came free, but João Augusto de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson de Queiroz in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Augusto de Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nelson de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víktor Valladares couldn't finish the play. When Vitinho Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Pucazeiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitinho Gaspar couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the game, Carreiras's Víktor Valladares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Váldson Antunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Pucazeiro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carreiras were winning 0-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitinho Gaspar in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With a little luck, Pucazeiro's Váldson Antunes got control of the ball when Víktor Valladares tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee showed Sérgio Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sérgio Perez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Carreiras's Víktor Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Carreiras's zone, Nelson de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto de Queirós came out of the goal and Nelson de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Carreiras's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson de Queiroz came free, but João Augusto de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carreiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionísio Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hílton Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute.
