Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Armindo Romero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Taquara AD's Sabino Pombal got control of the ball when Dário Vides tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panambi SC's José Maria Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Romero in the 7th minute of play. When Dário Vides came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Panambi SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dário Vides couldn't finish the play. Taquara AD's Armindo Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Armindo Romero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taquara AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 29 played minutes Taquara AD got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Cearense. Bebeto Dante took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabino Pombal. Sabino Pombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Zé Pedro Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zé Pedro Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armindo Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. José Maria Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cacá Cearense's late challenge caught a Panambi SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cacá Cearense helped the player get up and apologised. Cacá Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Dário Vides made a precise shot to the right of Sabino Pombal. Taquara AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 55 played minutes Taquara AD got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Damião. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Dário Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panambi SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dário Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabino Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 minutes of play, Panambi SC's Bebeto Dante made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabino Pombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Maria Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Romero in the 65th minute of play. Sabino Pombal came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Panambi SC's Bebeto Dante. But to his dismay, Bebeto Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Sabino Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Armindo Romero was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. José Maria Abreu was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Armindo Romero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Armindo Romero really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. 99 minutes into the game, Dário Vides cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Sabino Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taquara AD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Panambi SC.
