Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cacimbas's Teodoro Costa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gilson Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Teodoro Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacimbas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cacimbas's Gilson Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Teodoro Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariquita's Kauan Maranhense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilson Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan Maranhense having to interfere. If Teodoro Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Lenílson Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Kauan Maranhense came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Cacimbas's Gilson Toscano. But to his dismay, Gilson Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Teodoro Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kauan Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariquita's Kauan Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Costa in the 72nd minute of play. Gilson Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kauan Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Oscar Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mariquita and the Cacimbas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oscar Moura hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Teodoro Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariquita's Kauan Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Toscano in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute of the game, Gonçalo Saldanha landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 86 minutes into the game, Fausto Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacimbas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mariquita the free kick. Fausto Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Lenílson Arósio took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otávio Montenegro. Otávio Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Teodoro Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kauan Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cacimbas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
