Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Macedo in the 4th minute of play forced Marituba EC's goalkeeper Luisinho Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Agenor Terra clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. Luís Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Wellington Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Teodoro Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agnaldo Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Otávio Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurício Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Marituba EC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ian Linares hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cacimbas's Gildo Simões tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Otávio Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Correia went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Raphael Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Maurício Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Teodoro Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Maurício Correia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agnaldo Leme was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Teodoro Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cacimbas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 67 minutes into the match, Cacimbas's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto de Alcântara came free, but Otávio Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Agnaldo Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maurício Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otávio Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Marituba EC's Agnaldo Leme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otávio Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
