Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Chambioa's Edvaldo Passos got a free kick in the 4th minute. João Corrêa scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agnaldo Bittencourt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th match minute, Chambioa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. When Juvenal Dante came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bahianos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juvenal Dante couldn't finish the play. In the 13th match minute, Chambioa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Passos to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Gustavo Cruz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agnaldo Bittencourt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Osvaldinho Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes, Chambioa's Gustavo Cruz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Agnaldo Bittencourt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chambioa reached it. After a rather tough play, Bahianos's Osvaldinho Cosme got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Luciano Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mané de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Mané de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Jacinto in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Jacinto in the 30th minute of play forced Chambioa's goalkeeper Mané de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agnaldo Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Norberto Perez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Chambioa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Norberto Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chambioa's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agnaldo Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Norberto Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bahianos's zone, João Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agnaldo Bittencourt came out of the goal and João Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juvenal Dante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juvenal Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané de Brito having to interfere. Mané de Brito was a little too slow when Juvenal Dante got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-1. Mané de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luciano Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Bahianos's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Perez came free, but Agnaldo Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agnaldo Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Chambioa's João Corrêa. But to his dismay, João Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Osvaldinho Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Agnaldo Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
