In the 26th match minute, Parangaba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Parangaba FC's Franklin Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Paraense in the 39th minute of play. Dino Brasil was a little too slow when Vágner de Alcântara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. When Bertolinia SC's Betinho Torres in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacinto Cavalcante to strike the kick off in the second half. Bertolinia SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
