In the 23rd match minute, Parangaba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Wágner Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Salgado having to interfere. Franklin Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dinei Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Parangaba FC's Vágner de Alcântara was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Ema booed when Parangaba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57thth minute of the game Ciro Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parangaba FC's Franklin Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciro Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Afonsinho Netto made a precise shot to the right of Franklin Salgado. Parangaba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Parangaba FC's Vágner de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, Parangaba FC's Zé Urbano made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinei Cearense was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 75 played minutes Ema got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Coelho. When Vágner de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Parangaba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. Parangaba FC's Vágner de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vágner de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Cearense having to interfere. If Ciro Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner Teixeira in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ema's Wágner Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
